Today's picture/Sunset

Last night and today we got eleven inches of snow.

  1. I talked to my Granddaughter that lives in Wisconsin wednesday and she said they had 12" of snow. They didn't have to go to school. She was happy.

Our entire city would shut down if we got that much snow. It sure makes pretty pictures though.

  2. That photo is gorgeous! The pink sky and glint of sunlight lifts my spirits. Amidst winter's icy grip, beauty and hope...

  3. It's a winter wonderland! Nan, I started Michael Pollan's book today.

  4. My daughter said ,"WHAT?!!! It's no FAIR." You see it's been in the low
    60's here in the South!

  5. Such a lovely photo, Nan. It looks so inviting, but then I remind myself that snow is cold. Very cold and I would probably prefer just sticking to looking at the photo. :-)

  6. Simply beautiful photo. Such a perfect Winter sunset.

11" hu? Yikes.... We aren't getting much at a time, any more. But we mix ice in with ours. Also yikes.

  11. Thanks so much Bellezza, Kay, and Nancy for the nice compliments. That sky didn't stay the same for very long.
