Letters from a Hill Farm
I love the simplicity of this photograph. Great quote, too. :)
Thanks, Les. The sky was so gorgeous and you can see by the smoke that there was no wind. As Tom says, it was just drifting up. I'm enjoying her book but waiting till spring for the spring section. :<)
I'm doing the same thing. I've read the Winter section, but have been holding off to start the Spring section next week. I may go back and read what I've read first, though. Just to refresh my memory. :)
Wow lovely photo and great contrast between the blue of the sky and the red of the chimney
Ah, that is the kind of color I am starved for all winter long. I can't wait for a sky like that here! What a gorgeous photo!
Thanks so much, Sarah.
Absolutely love this picture!!! Brilliant!
Thanks Aisling and Laura. Honestly we have so many days like this. I'd like to see some stats to see if I'm just imagining it, but it seems to me that more winter days are sunny than not.
What an awesome photo! It says so many things. :)
I love this, Nan. Thank you! :)
Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now! Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
