Mrs Bale finally has something to say!

Although we had a little snow back in October, there hasn't been any since - until yesterday!! It snowed and snowed and snowed.

  2. I didn't know it snowed up NORTH!
I love coming to see winter and even summer on your blog. Thanks for the photos and the weather report. It is clear, blue, Carolina blue, skies here in the south!

  3. Hi Nan: What beautiful photos, I always think the first real snowfall of the year is always special. We too had a little skiff in October, and a little on Friday, but all is clear now, and I hope it stays that was for a while yet. I am still hoping for a Dec. 24th snowfall, to be gone on the 26th. That isn't too much to ask for is it?

  4. Aren't dogs funny. Luna loves when the weather gets cooler. She likes snow too. Glad to hear that Mrs BAle is still alive and well.

  5. Donna, what are the Camelot words? (I looked them up) 'The winter is forbidden till December, And exits March the second on the dot.'

Lisa, the dogs ran and played happily before they sat down. Yeah, Mrs Bale was just waiting for something interesting to talk about. :<) The Irish Sea has been pretty boring lately.

Book Psmith, it is beautiful. And with the full moon coming it is quite bright outdoors.

Cornflower, they really know how to live, don't they?!

Bonnie, happy to oblige. :<) We've got a bit of sun now, but some snow is still on the ground. I'm like my son - I hope it stays till spring with no rain.

  6. I love the 5 pm photo! A winter wonderland. And, oh, how Annie would love to join your dogs for a romp in the snow. We haven't had any since our early storm in October.

  7. Les, it was taken out the laundry room window which has the spotlight outside where Ben appeared all those year ago!

  8. Nan, beautiful. There has not been a snow like that in my area in many years. I grew up in Michigan and remember snow like you have. Enjoy and stay warm.
