Oh, that is pretty!
Oh, thanks, Beth. Awfully hard to capture the beauty of these flowers!
Your photography is outstanding, Nan! I love the amaryllis and also the clouds below... beautiful!
Very Pretty! Actually I'm more intrigued by the thought of having a cup of coffee after seeing the top of your blog page.
Thank you, Nan! Luck is all - I don't know anything about the settings, and am not sure I really want to learn. I take a lot of shots I delete and am amazed and happy when I get some I love. :<) Thanks, Larry. Isn't that just the best ad?! Sometime I'm going to post the whole advertisement - there are a lot of interesting coffee facts from the time.
what a spectacular shot!!
oh how pretty. My mom always has beautiful amarylis. I got a few nice shots of hers in bud at thanksgiving. I love that they bloom when everything else is gone by...I just had to say that the spam filter letters that came up for me have the same letters as my electric Co. UNITIL. that is a dirty word 'round these parts after the major ice storm and historic power outage...
Thanks Staci and Hip Chick! The color is so bright on these gray days. That's so funny about the letters.
Happy New Year to You, Tom and family!Looking forward to more Letters from a Hill Farm in 2009 - a source of comfort, warmth and too many books for a booklover to consider (that said kindly - as when is there ever too many books?) - yet, my want/tbr list grows and grows.Continued health & happiness to you and yours!
Thank you, Linda. I can't tell you how very happy your words make me feel.
Nan, what a beautiful amaryllis-the color is just beautiful-so rich!
Sherri, it is so amazing. I have another one where it is bathed in sunlight. Such a treat!
What a beautiful photo! Have you ever read Natalie Babbitt's Eyes of the Amaryllis? It's a beautiful little book about love that transcends death...
No, Robin, I never have. Thank you for the mention.
