Christmas Corner/Wreath
Though not decorated like last year's wreath, I love the simple, natural beauty of this one. And honestly, that door is so colorful, it would be almost too much to have a beribboned one! Our daughter and her boyfriend got it for us. And you'll love the story. They were driving on a back road, and saw a display of homemade wreaths for $5 each, with a sign saying to leave payment in the mailbox.

The snow is the only decoration it needs! Perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love it. I like finding things in this way. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI have had no snow as of yet. Not so for my daughter in Mass.
You are so right, Pamela!
ReplyDeleteI do, too, Ernestine!
The wreath is just gorgeous. I'm so glad there are honest people everywhere as well as people who believe the best in them.
ReplyDeleteKay, that's just how I feel, too.
ReplyDeleteThat's so fun! It reminds me of farmstands we used to visit when I was a kid-just take the produce and leave the money, if no one was there.
ReplyDeleteJoyce, we still have a couple vegetable farms around here where we can do that. I love it!
ReplyDeleteAnd such is the beauty of country living. :-) It's lovely, and I believe I can catch a whiff of that heady fragrace! (Thank you for your visit today -- your kind comment was just the tonic I needed. :)
ReplyDeleteA fine example of how the simplest things are often the prettiest. And wow - $5! For that price I think you should get another one to tie to the fender of your Bug!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Nancy and Alison. I do love it. That is a nice facet of living in the country. I see people with wreaths on their cars and trucks and they always make me smile.
