Mrs Bale is singing, I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

And I'm pretty sure the dream will come true!

After some rain, we've had green grass for a few days.

It began snowing late this afternoon, just as it should on Christmas Eve.

And now we've now got a respectable amount of snow on the ground.

Mrs B

and I are happy, happy!

  3. Lovely pictures, Nan. I could walk down that road, find a nice spot on the green and read a book.

  8. No snow here, although it is now cold enough for it. Rain in Christmas Eve during the day, but it cleared up later, and I walked home from my parents under a moonlit sky, greeting my old friend Orion who had not been visible for several nights. Christmas morning brought a mist that was later lit up by the sun.
    Merry Christmas!

    1. Thank you, and the same to you. I find those quiet days after the holidays to feel almost sacred. We had Christmas dinner at our son-in-law's mother's house, but we haven't had our family get-together yet. We were supposed to on the 23rd but one family all had the flu. Still not completely 100%. We have a tentative plan for New Year's Day. We'll see.
