Letters from a Hill Farm
I love this quote! Sacred idleness. Love it!
Wonderful! I didn't realize what I'd been doing lately was sacred, but I'll take it. :)
I think those are great words. Society doesn't seem to value idleness, but I think without it we can't do busyness very well. And Amy, I'm sure it was sacred. :<)
I like this quote very much -- there's much to be said for "sacred idleness" and we, as a society, don't partake often enough. Just a moment with eyes closed, listening to the wind or morning bird song or waves crashing on the shore...balms for the soul. :)
I agree, Nancy.
I am changing how I post your much appreciated comments. Since I began the blog, I've waited to post them until I had the opportunity to respond. Sometimes that has taken a while, so I've decided to moderate them and post them as soon as possible, and then I'll respond when I get a chance. Please do come back because I will answer all your notes to me.Also, you may comment on any posts, no matter how old, and I will receive notice.
