Letters from a Hill Farm
I love your header picture of the deer! We're still digging out from this same storm, which blew through here yesterday. I'm just glad we were on the snow side of the line this time, and didn't get any ice.
It looks like that 'round me too! My husband has just informed me that unlike the last gazillion snowstorms we've had this year this snow is not light and fluffy but somewhat heavy...which leaves me saying OH POOH! in a very unlady like way! However your deer looks so pretty in it and your stew looks so delish...
Thank you both - the deer are a constant source of beauty these days. I'm a fan of snow, not ice. So far we still have power (obviously, duh!) and it's nice and cozy inside.
It makes me want to pop into your world for a couple of days to take photos and then come back to my damp but warm UK to process them...
Scriptor Senex, it'd be easier and cheaper for me to just send you some. :<)
Sherri, the house was plenty warm, and the storm didn't amount to much. A few inches of snow, nothing at all like was predicted!
Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now! Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
