Letters from a Hill Farm
Great photo, Nan! ~ Lynda xo
Those are some serious icesicles. That sky matches them well.
Oh my goodness. I have never seen icicles like that! Is that your house, Nan?
Thanks, Lynda!Lisa, those aren't even the big ones. :<)Cath, yes, that is the front of the house, but I was pointing the camera up. Those windows are above the outdoor wooden Santa I featured a few days ago. So, you've never seen icicles, like that, eh? :<)
Ohhh look at those icicles!!!!! No walking under them! ,-)Mari-Nanci
How pretty! Somehow I just know that inside the house, all is warm and cozy! :)
The icicles were dripping today even though it was in the twenties, Mari-Nanci. And Aisling, it was nice and warm by the stove. You may ask those black dogs. :<)
What an amazing picture. Your house looks like a wedding cake! Gorgeous.
I have seen icicles like that, and more when we were growing up in Colorado. What was interesting about it was once my dad got the roof better insulated we no longer had such impressive icicles. Such a toothy grin your house has right now!
Ah, well, you've got me beat! We have ice, but no icicles. At least not yet. Guess we need sunshine for that!Stay warm (and safe!)
Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now! Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
