Christmas Card

Today, as the snow lightly falls outdoors, and A Charlie Brown Christmas softly plays indoors, I will be at my desk writing Christmas cards. This is the photo we chose for our card, a February sunset. And so, I send it out to all who come to visit my blog. I wish you a joyous holiday season, and all good things in the New Year.

  1. Thank you ever so much for the Christmas greeting. It is such a lovely picture.

Merry Chirstmas to you too... and a Happy, Peaceful New Year...

  2. Thanks, Lisa. I'm pleased with it. This is the first time we haven't had family or animals on our card. I like the calm, still feeling the snow gives.

  3. I sat down late yesterday afternoon, around 4:30, and started my Christmas cards. Are you surprised? :)

  6. Thanks, Karen. I was planning to continue with mine today but I got caught in a book, and could not put it down. I'm off now to write some more cards.

  8. How beautiful! I happened on your blog because you mentioned Karin's Christmas Walk, which I'm blogging about today. I'll be back!

  9. Handmade Christmas cards are the best, especially ones with photographs such as yours. They are my favorite. Although I doubt I'll be sending any this year; school doesn't let out until December 23. I'm surprised they're giving us Christmas Eve off!

  10. I was just needing a new background for my computer. Half of the pictures saved on my computer start with "Nan's....". Merry Christmas to all of you!!

Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now!

Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
