Letters from a Hill Farm
I'll have a glass of the cool beverage with you and I'll sit in the rocker. Can I bring my knitting to the gathering? I certainly would love to sit and knit with you while we enjoy the easy livin' afternoon!
Oh, you are so welcome to come! It is the evening though, and the "beverage" is a Cosmopolitan. :<) I posted a recipe a while back. You may find it here:http://lettersfromahillfarm.blogspot.com/2007/03/tools-of-tradecosmopolitan.htmlAnd of course you could bring your knitting!
I love your porch and chairs! What a wonderful place to read and relax. Happy summer!
Nan, may I lounge in the hammock in the back and have a gin and tonic instead?. Of course then we'll need a crane to lift me out of the hammock when it's time to leave.
What time's cocktail hour? I'm comin' over!
What a sweet picture and now I've got that song going through my head! Lovely.
Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now! Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
