Turning to a book

I've been as nervous as the proverbial cat today. I walk around, I read blogs, I can't settle on any one thing. Even the three books I've got going right now can't assuage my restlessness, so I'm turning to my new Martin Edwards book, The Coffin Trail. I'll pass this evening reading about murder and mayhem in the Lake District of England.

  1. I hope you had a great evening! I must try a Martin Edwards book sometime.

  2. It's over and we did it! New Hampshire sure came through in a big way. So now, maybe we can stop worrying about the country and let the competent person headed to the White house figure it out and we can get back to enjoying the nature around us, eating yummy baked things and reading good mysteries.

  3. I couldn't read a single thing yesterday! I watched more tv than I usually do in a month, though.

Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now!

Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
