Letters from a Hill Farm
YOU MADE MY DAY! If fact, and I hope you don't mind, but, I will probably "borrow" this and refer back to you. The song has been in my mind this week. It is one of my favorites. My dad, who made me think this song was about ME (my name is Penny) would "dance" with me, crooning the words. Dancing meant standing on his feet as he moved around.
Penny, you don't need to refer back to me! I just found it on you tube. It's for everyone. I LOVE FS. And I love your story. Wonderful. Speaking of pennies, do you know the film The Five Pennies? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052809/I loved this movie as a kid, and then I bought the video for our daughter, and she loved it too. Very warm and touching film.
Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now! Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
