We sure do and it's happening!
I remember seeing Johnny Mathis at a theater in the round in MA in the early 90s. Cute pic Nan.
I have two of his Christmas albums. I used to get them out every year. I might have to do that again this year.
He is just the best! This song really made me cry this year, as if the words touched home for the first time. "Grown a little sadder, ... grown a little older ... need a little angel, sitting on my shoulder"
Those were the days. One of his Christmas albums has been a regular on my Christmas playlist for decades now.I'm just not sure what to think about Christmas this year. We've already pretty much written off seeing family over Thanksgiving, but it kills me to think that the same thing will happen at Christmas. The thought bothers me the closer we get.
Are you aren't seeing any family through this virus time? Were you and then you had to stop because of all the cases? It is such a weird time and we are all so tired that it is hard to make decisions. I had a little mention of JM last December - https://lettersfromahillfarm.blogspot.com/2019/12/todays-christmas-song-all-those.html
