God bless mother and father and grandparents, too, aunties and uncles and friends old and new, the children, the doggies, the birds in the trees, and happiness-makers wherever they be.
I don't know if she wrote these words, but I suspect so because they aren't attributed to anyone. Aren't they lovely?
Yes, they are. Susan (she seems to be a person you can call by her first name) is one of those special happiness makers. As are you.

Those last three words! Thank you. Such a nice thing to say. And I do love that phrase. And yes, indeed, she is a person we feel we know. She is so open and honest.
DeleteLovely, indeed! I especially like the "happiness-makers." I remember prayers with the kids when they were little and the inclusion of dogs and cats and stuffed animals...whatever made them happy at the time. This little prayer would make you go to sleep with a smile.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful comment. Prayers with the little ones. I don't think many say prayers anymore. Or go to church. I love your last sentence.
DeleteYes, they really are....Wasn't this from a prayer Joe said as a child? I'll have to go back and check. I love her blog because she always makes me feel happier, feel there is hope for the world. Your blog does this, too. (And you are not marketing anything. Not that I think there is anything fake about SB.)
ReplyDeleteI don't know. It sure is wonderful. No wonder he is her fella! She does make me feel that way. I think her twitter account is more political. I'm not on it, and never will be. And thank you for your words about this blog.
DeleteI don't tweet at all....Nor read tweets.
DeleteAbsolutely lovely and something we should all make part of our thanksgiving blessing.
ReplyDeleteI love what you wrote. You are so right.
DeleteYes, it is a heart felt quote.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely words, thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteThey really are so nice!
DeleteA sweet poem/prayer.
ReplyDeleteI really like the reference to the "happiness-markers." That's a new term for me, but one I find very appealing because those folks are so rare these days.
ReplyDeleteI know loads of them! But, then you know I don't watch or listen to any news. Pretty soon I won't even know who is President. hahaha
DeleteYour blog is always a happiness maker for me! I’ve copied those words, for maybe a note to my daughter or granddaughter ...they are special. Thank you.
