Today's song and video/The Cottager's Reply - Chris Wood
I was just listening to this song on my iTunes, and came to the blog to check if it was here because I thought I remembered posting it. I found it from five years ago, but the video was gone, as sometimes happens. So, here it is again.
Don't you hate it when you work so hard to get the very BEST video from YouTube, and you go back and it is not there? I do that all the time! This is a very good song and a good video, glad you have it again, Nan!
I'll answer your comments as soon as I possibly can. Please do come back if you've asked a question. Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
Ah this is a good one.
ReplyDeleteVery moving, I think. True in most country areas. Around the lakes in my state, people buy up the old family "cottage" and turn it into a mcmansion.

ReplyDeleteThat song is so meaningful. There is something about folk music that goes right to the heart, I think.
DeleteOh yes, Nan! Thank you for sending me a link to this post because I obviously missed it during a blogging break then. I'm going to,listen to it again!
