Quote du jour/Rocky in As Time Goes By

The first episode when we meet Mrs Bale in As Time Goes By,


she makes pina coladas. 

Lionel’s father Rocky 

says,
She's a sullen creature, but she shakes a great cocktail.
Yes indeed, I am watching this wonderful series all over again. Mrs B hasn't made an appearance here on the blog offering a weather report for a long time. She hopes to return soon.

    I'm currently watching this show on Rocky Mountain PBS. It's so cute! Rocky and Madge are my favorite characters. I hope my hubby and I are that active at that age!

    As Time Goes By is one of our family's all time favorite series. We own them on DVD and have watched them over and over again. Mrs. Bale's appearances are always a highlight!

    Oh, how I love this series! I gave my mom the dvd set a few years ago, so maybe we'll watch some when we visit her this summer.

    "As Times Goes By" continues to run every Saturday night here on local PBS, Nan, and we continue to watch it, over and over, as it always seems fresh to me. This episode is a favorite.

    I've missed Mrs B's weather reports .... Glad she plans to return to your blog. We finally have NetFlix and are currently binge-watching Doc Martin, a PBS series we watched in fits and starts because of travels.
