Sally: a brief journey; an excursion or trip.
You don’t even have to get up out of your chair to take this little trip. You need only click the links.
The first one is a terrific radio show called Outside/In. Here is the website.
You may click on any of the episodes here to listen, or you may subscribe to the podcast. You may read about Sam Evans-Brown here. The show is so interesting and so much fun no matter what the subject matter happens to be. I love it, and I think you will, too.
Though, most sadly, Roger Ebert has died, his website lives on, and it is full of movie info. The site offers his old reviews, and current ones by new people. It will be appreciated by all movie fans.
I've enjoyed my Sally, Nan. And I really enjoyed the Weekend Cooking link, which I'd never heard of before. Always room for one more recipe!
ReplyDeleteWeekend Cooking is great fun! You ought to post!
DeleteThanks for the links! i'd never heard about Outside In and had forgotten about Roger Ebert's site (not forgotten about him of course)..... Sallie (who spells her name wrong)
ReplyDeleteMy mother's name when I knew her was Millie, but in an old book I saw she spelled it Milly.
DeleteInteresting. I will check out the podcasts.
ReplyDeleteThey are so much fun, and very interesting.
DeleteI like ironing, and I like listening to something interesting while doing so (not watching TV, as I usually iron in my bedroom where there is no TV set). So I think I am going to check out the Outside/In radio show next time I'll be ironing - thank you for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteI think it will hold your interest!
DeleteThanks for the links! Happy Monday♥
ReplyDeleteI love Roger Ebert and always trusted his judgement about films. I wasn't aware that his site was still up and running, thank you for letting us know. x
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy I thought to post about it! You will really enjoy the site. SO much info.
