Lovely photographs, both the header and the snow scene, I do so love your house. Wasn't Over the River and Through the Wood a poem or a song…it sounds familiar. Hope you are all really well.
Yes it is a poem, and I posted it. Wait, I'll find you the link: http://lettersfromahillfarm.blogspot.com/2007/11/todays-poem-by-lydia-maria-child.html
Oh, this reminds me of when my mother's family would gather at my grandmother's house in Vermont for Thanksgiving. It would usually snow at some point and we would go on walks where it was just absolute silence.
I'll answer your comments as soon as I possibly can. Please do come back if you've asked a question. Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
What a beautiful scene!

ReplyDeleteThank you! And thanks for stopping by. I'm sorry to see your blog isn't going anymore. It has a lovely title.
DeleteIt's beautiful to look at - but I am glad there is no snow here yet :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see snow most anytime! As long as my kiddos don't have to drive anywhere, that is.
DeleteLovely picture. Our weather can't make up it's mind between freezing one day and 75 the next!
