  1. They have such an interesting track! How many do you see at a time? We used to have two show up in our backyard when we lived in our first house in Nebraska. Amy named them Desi & Lucy. :)

    1. This winter there are 19, but then sometimes we just have 3- the three amigos. The two groups don't travel together. They are mysterious birds, and oh, how I love them. Very cute story.

  2. I see plenty of turkeys in fields near here but never noticed the tracks. Must look next time.

  3. We occasionally see turkeys here and also did when we were in the Austin area, but you guys have a whole flock! Like Les said, the tracks are very curious - like arrows pointing which way to go or maybe backwards. Ha!

  4. How fun! I have to laugh every time I see our chickens' tracks......they look prehistoric to me.

  5. Oh I love those turkey track photos! It would be very nice to see that many turkeys at once. I rarely spot them where I live. Thank you for sharing.

    1. We just love them! They are so mysterious. Haven't seen them all summer whereas we usually see some mothers and babies. And then, boom we put out bird food and they show up. First just three, then nineteen, and we don't know if the three are part ot the bigger or not. And down the hill at our daughter's they are a different amount!
