Hoping for a blog post without the word "hay"?? Not quite yet!

Yesterday our young friend delivered nine bales of hay from a town about an hour north of us. There won't be more from that source, but we are so grateful. And on Wednesday we will go again to the next state for those five bales we are allowed. The animals are smiling.

Here is the lad himself.

And the hay.

    1. Depends how big the bales are and what the quality of the hay is.

  3. I remember when hay was scarce here after a drought, not that I had a need for it, but some animal owners were driving to Oklahoma from Louisiana to buy hay. Do you always haul hay in your car?

    1. The truck in the picture used to work, but no more. We are in the process of buying Matt's mother's old truck so hoping we can clean the hay out of the car!
