Yesterday our young friend delivered nine bales of hay from a town about an hour north of us. There won't be more from that source, but we are so grateful. And on Wednesday we will go again to the next state for those five bales we are allowed. The animals are smiling.
Here is the lad himself.
And the hay.
Hooray for hay!
ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteGlad your animals now have a good supply.
ReplyDeleteWill keep working on it as the winter progresses.
DeleteHow much hay do the animals go through in a week, Nan?
ReplyDeleteLove your header!
Depends how big the bales are and what the quality of the hay is.
DeleteYum yum.
ReplyDeletehaha
DeleteI remember when hay was scarce here after a drought, not that I had a need for it, but some animal owners were driving to Oklahoma from Louisiana to buy hay. Do you always haul hay in your car?
ReplyDeleteThe truck in the picture used to work, but no more. We are in the process of buying Matt's mother's old truck so hoping we can clean the hay out of the car!
DeleteIt must be such a relief to know you have enough hay for your animals.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe "the lad" is in short sleeves!!
He's never cold!!
DeleteI was intrigued with the header, and stayed for the pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks
