Has your weather been a roller coaster ride this year? We get snow, lose it due to warmth for a few days, then get another wave of it. We have snow now, but expect temps in upper thirties and low 40s for several days beginning tomorrow.
We have not had any snow in a while, and as far as I'm concerned, I don't need any more until December :-) Getting to and from work is just so much easier and cleaner without having to walk through the grey-brown sludge snow sadly turns into here in town. I imagine the little gnome feeling nice and cosy in his own personal iglu!
We gave one to our son and his family of gnome fighting dinosaurs. And a gardening gnome with a solar light to our daughter and her family. I fell in love with gnomes back in the Fawlty Towers days. We had one for a long time, and of course his name was Basil. Both my kids say Bass -il not Bays - il because of that show. :<)
I'll answer your comments as soon as I possibly can. Please do come back if you've asked a question. Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.

ReplyDeleteYes, pretty much the same as you described. It's been mostly nice though - a real winter, though still not as cold as it used to be.
DeleteIt's just beautiful today. It has snowed all day.

DeleteUh, yeah -- just a little. Poor little gnome. (Although perhaps he is a winter-loving gnome; I certainly hope so.)
ReplyDeleteI liked Meike's idea about the gnome. So much fun.
