  1. Yes, June mornings and June afternoons and June evenings. Even noons if I'm viewing it from a cool house. I'm sure Gladys would have loved your hill farm.

    1. Thanks, it is much like hers in many ways.
Think of the south without air-conditioning. Amazing.

  2. It is now as muggy in the morning as it is during the day here in SW INdiana. I still enjoy these mornings though. They aren't as oppressive as July and August mornings. I imagine as far north as you reside it is still marvelous. Love the quote.

    1. Our mornings and evenings are still quite cool, but we have fans in every room. Some people say to close the windows, but I can't do that. They are closed enough months of the year!

  3. You've got ahead of us again; my mallows aren't flowering yet.
I tried to comment the other day to say how much I liked your farm post, but I had trouble getting myself signed in. I've had to switch to my Google account to do it.

    1. We ought to start a 'what's in bloom blog' like those women who wrote the 3191 blog.:<) I wonder how many miles apart we are. We could talk about latitude and all that kind of fun stuff.

  4. Beautiful blossoms! My day lilies are the current stars of the garden. Time to get out with the camera.
