I offer this song on St. Valentine's Day as a reminder that all kinds of love may be celebrated today: love of boyfriends, girlfriends, children, books, gardens, pizza, cats, and dogs!
A St. Valentine's Day yawn from our Sadie - just another good day for a nap!
Love it :0)
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Nan!
Thanks, Val. (and the girls can sing right along!)
ReplyDeleteMy dog will always be true. Oh so true. Wonderful. Happy Valentines Day to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just the best song, Lisa?!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day Nan!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sherri, and to you.
ReplyDeleteZelda especially enjoyed this one. Happy Valentine's Day, Nan!
ReplyDeleteGreat name, JoAnn. Thanks and same to you.
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you and all those you love, especially the dog!
ReplyDeleteMaureen
Sadie says, thanks, Maureen! and same to you.
ReplyDeleteHa! I love that yawn!!!
ReplyDeleteI was happy to be able to get the pic, Staci.
ReplyDeleteOh my what a cutie:) I love you header too!!
ReplyDeleteDiane, Sadie and Raya thank you kindly!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I still have his LPs...we also have a new record deck, so maybe I'll go get the records and wallow in nostalgia.
ReplyDeleteWe've still got our old records, and our son will not let us get rid of them, so I'm thinking of setting up a way to play them, ChrisCross.
ReplyDeleteCS has also done work under his new name of Yusuf Islam. I wrote about one album here:

And a later one in my iTunes wish list.
There's a nice biography at amazon:

I've still got all my CS albums too, and must find a way to listen to them again. Does Sadie let you photograph her without posing? Both our girls line up squarely in front of anyone with a camera, which leads to a lot of pictures that all look the same!
ReplyDeleteThat is just hilarious, Geranium Cat. I love thinking of it. Sadie does not pose. She is part Rottweiler, and feels it unnecessary.:<)
ReplyDeleteA dog and a yawn - perfect together. Ha! Thanks for the song, Nan. Belated Valentine greetings!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely valentine's post - I wish I'd seen it yesterday, to send it on to some friends who were feeling just a touch blue.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll send it along anyway - the blog universe seems to have a bit of a sense of humor today. The verification word is "suffixed". So, I'll suffix Cat Stevens!
Yvette, I was so tickled I could get that shot!
ReplyDeleteShoreacres, not a bit too late. I like to promote the idea of all love, not just romantic love!
