Letters from a Hill Farm
Love these guys!! I just listened to this track twice and now I'm listening to Love, Love, Love. Their accents and harmonies are beautiful. Loved the trumpet in Little Talks.Totally off topic - the ceiling in the room they're performing in (in Seattle) looks awful! Black mold and water stains?! Yuck!
I thought you might like them! Do you know Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros? There is a bit of a similar sound. I sure know what you mean about the studio! I found a link:http://kexp.org/support/facts.aspbut it doesn't tell why it is such a mess.
I know of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros only by their song "Home," which I love!! I need to listen to more tracks.I borrowed Of Monsters and Men from a coworker and have it playing on the Bose. It was actually one of our in-store plays a month or so ago.
Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now! Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
