Let There Be Peace On Earth

Oh, to see and hear Vince Gill and his daughter, Jenny sing this most beautiful song! If you look closely, you'll see Amy Grant, Vince's wife and Jenny's stepmother on the side. It just makes me cry. The song was written in 1955 by Jill Jackson Miller and Sy Miller.

  5. We're watching "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" (the old Rankin-Bass one with Fred Astaire narrating) so I can't play the song now. I'll come back for a listen when the kids won't protest. Just wanted to say Merry Christmas and that banner picture today! Oo la la!

  8. I remember singing this song when I was in grade school; it was always part of our music repertoire in the 70's, and it should be again. Kids need to know about peace.

Your header is lovely as always, Nan, and I wish you such a Merry Christmas with every blessing in 2011.
