Letters from a Hill Farm
Yay! It's staylig lighter later! :D
I love this! It sort of reminds me of Monet painting the same place in different lighting. Great shots.
Happy March! I love that the days are getting longer. Spring is coming, slowly but surely.
Yay is right! Kay, thanks for making the connection to Monet. I hadn't thought of that. All I know is that the daylight is headed in the right direction! --Tom
JoAnn, thanks for commenting. I even see a patch of grass under the big tree out front - Tom
I, too, have noticed the longer days. I leave for work at 6:40 am and I'm so happy it's not quite as dark as it was just a few weeks ago!!!
Hi Les, I know what you're talking about. For a while there, I was both leaving for work and coming home in the dark! - Tom
Yes, spring is just over that horizon. Isn't it wonderful?? Your poor dog in the snow in the header picture probably doesn't think so. Poor boy looks stuck.
Lisa, thanks for commenting. Spring IS coming. Our dog Ben only looks stuck; he's been rather vigilant lately trying to spot one of the deer that have been around our house. - Tom
Beautiful scene-The recent increase in daylight has really lifted my spirits.
Larry, me too. A gift of more daylight has to make one feel better. - Tom
Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now! Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
