That was a funny line. I didn't recognize Frank or even his name at first. I thought last week had the funniest lines, we laughed out loud all night.
When Ben pulled the van over and yelled at Jack and Sun, when John asked Who's your son? to Christian, and I melted when Sawyer and Jin met and hugged.
Thank you for coming by Sharon! Good thing you aren't hooked on LOST, you'd never get any work done. :<) That said, you might want to pick up the first season on dvd and see what you think.
Raidergirl - I loved it when Jin and Sawyer met, too. And Frank looked so different! Oh, I could spend all my days watching/talking and reading about LOST. I've said before that I think it would make a great college course - each Thursday it would meet and talk about previous episode.
There have been some great lines this season, but this was the best! Took me a minute to recognize Frank; I, too, liked scruffy bearded Frank. Isn't it interesting how many levels of engagement there are with Lost? Viewer's choice--you can just go along for the ride, twist and analyze every word and image, or fall somewhere comfortably in the middle!
Marcia, I love this about the 'levels!' I think Tom and I are somewhere between the middle one and the last one you mentioned. Where do you fit in?? :<)
Me, too, Laura!! We've been buying it from iTunes, so I can watch it more than once, and that's been great. I always catch something I didn't see before.
I'll answer your comments as soon as I possibly can. Please do come back if you've asked a question. Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
I LOVED that line! It was one of the best all night. But is it just me, or does Frank look much better with a beard?
ReplyDeleteI barely recognized him! I like his 'island look' better! It was a great show, and that was just THE BEST line.
ReplyDeleteThat was AWESOME!!!! Best line of the show all night, by far. Can you tell I'm all caught up now and waiting week by week with bated breath??
ReplyDeleteTara- ah, yes, you exhibit all the signs. :<) Do you visit any of the LOST sites on my sidebar? There are a lot of us out there.
ReplyDeleteForgive me, I don't watch Lost, but it looks like it must be good.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to thank you for your wonderful blog, and for the recipes. Treasures.
Loping toward Spring!!! Hurrah,
Sharon Lovejoy
