Today's picture - My kiddos

This was taken at our niece's wedding in April. When did my babies turn into thirty-somethings?!

  1. They look lovely, Nan. And so do your grandchildren, of course.

  3. I'm not sure who told our kids that they were allowed to get to their current ages. Not me. LOL

  4. I am asking the same question, my own range in age from 35-26. YIKES!
Yours look like they enjoy one another's company, such a lovely thing.

  5. Oh Nan, just wait until your grandchildren are that age!! (I don't always feel my age, but when I do ....) That's a great portrait of your good-looking and happy'kids' . (And, by the way, ever since mine reached the age yours are now I've been looking for a better collective noun to describe our grown-up and independent offspring.)

    1. I will be ancient! I'm still fond of kids. I figure anyone that much younger than me is a kid. ;<))

  6. Well, my Mum and Dad are wondering when their kids turned into respectful ladies of middle age... (more or less!)
My sister turned 50 this January, and it will be my turn next March!
Your children look like happy, healthy, beautiful people. Not surprising, really, as they were brought up by wonderful parents.

  7. In the blink of an eye comes to mind often with me these days. Your babies have grown into very fine adults. Great photo.

  8. What lovely 'babies'. My own babies are now both forty something and the grandkids are now scaring me as one is nearly 17 and the other 10. I agree with Kay's comment...

    1. So he or she was born the same year as my Margaret! And yes, it is really hard to believe.

  10. Lovely photo! My oldest is now 27 and my youngest 14 and a half (can't forget that half!) I understand that feeling of "Where has the time gone?" so well!

  11. My baby will be 35 and my oldest is 42 and I was 30 when she was born. And my dear daughter in the middle will be 39 in August. I think we all try to wrap our minds around time and change.

    1. There's an old Bonnie Raitt song, Nick of Time, that talks about this. "I see my folks, they're getting old and watch their bodies change. I know they see the same in me, and it makes us both feel strange."

  12. Thank you. I was really pleased. I cropped it to lose other people in the background. haha

  13. They have grown in to such beautiful adults, Nan. I think I've been watching them grow up for 20 years now! What a blessing they and their children have been to you and Tom.
