Mrs Bale is shocked by the heat!

Mrs Bale says, "oh, no" when she sees the temperature! Addendum: We had a thunderstorm Thursday evening which brought the temp way down. At 9.30 Friday morning, it is almost 30 degrees cooler, and Mrs B shouts, "hooray!."

    1. It is so intense for us because we don't have air-conditioning. Honestly, it felt like I was melting away. Nice and cool, now.

  2. It's an odd day when the temps at your house and mine are much the same. Ha! Happily, yours won't stay long I suspect. Mine are just beginning.

  3. That's crazy! (The temperature -- not Mrs Bale, who is perfectly right to be shocked.) Down here on the Canal it's high 80s-90s too, but it is supposed to be.

  4. Haha! I always enjoy Mrs. Bale.
We had 80+ yesterday and today, but, temps are dropping and should be in the 40's by morning.

  5. Nan, India is going through its annual scorching summer months with many towns and cities regularly hitting 110F (43C) to 120F (48C), not to mention the high humidity levels.

    1. It really is 'golden television.' I can't count how many times I've watched it. I'm glad you like the lilac. Wish I could send you the smell, too!
