Oh my goodness! Where have the years gone?! Look at her as a little baby with the hair that stood straight up! :) Happy Birthday to both of these special people in your life, dear Nan. I'm sure the celebrations have been full of love & laughter.
By the way, I saw a lovely book in the store today. I can't remember if I mentioned it to you already, but it's called Sleep Tight Farm: A Farm Prepares for Winter by Eugenie Doyle and Becca Stadtlander (Illustrator). I thought of Hazel Nina the minute I thumbed through it.
Thank you. There was a birthday party on Saturday, and then the five of us celebrated this evening. Wonderful. I've ordered two copies of the book. I appreciate you telling me about it.
What a lovely collection of photos and memories! I only received the message about your new post now - it is already the morning of the 6th here, so here are my slightly belated Happy Birthday wishes to the Birthday Team :-)
What fun to share a birthday with a Grand! Happy Birthday to them both. Another interesting birthday is that my husband's birthday is the same day. So we were celebrating too. :) Love your header shot. It looks like a picture post card of a winter scene.
They aren't really in any order. I just put a bunch on the desktop and added them to the blog. Yes, they are a delight to each other. It's wonderful to see.
Belated Happy Birthday to Hazel and Tom. Three years ago, so much anxiety, and now such joy. I'm so glad. Love your header, you really are the queen of headers Nan. x
I'll answer your comments as soon as I possibly can. Please do come back if you've asked a question. Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
Happy birthday to them both!

I'm looking forward to hearing Hazel Nina's and your thoughts on the book, Nan!
DeleteCelebrations for both birthday Tom and Hazel! I love the photos you have shared and the new blog header is very pretty. You have a lot of snow!
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks! It isn't much snow for us, but I expect more will come. And it's cold enough that the ski/snowboard areas can make snow.

ReplyDeleteThat's pretty amazing, Lisa!
DeleteI loved seeing these pictures work themselves backwards in time. It's clear they are a delight to each other. Happy birthday to them both!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! Love seeing them. Happy Birthday to Tom and Hazel Nina.:)
ReplyDeleteHa, ha! I love electric baby hair! My niece's son had it, although now at 5, they are keeping it shorter--which is much less fun. :)
ReplyDeleteOur son had it, too!
DeleteHow very wonderful that Tom and Hazel share the same birthday! A little late but wishing them both a very happy year ahead.
ReplyDeleteIt was a miracle. The story is here: http://lettersfromahillfarm.blogspot.com/2013/12/hazel-nina-our-new-granddaughter.html
