A reprise of the summer bouquets!

Yesterday we went to a family wedding, and the woman who grows the CSA flowers I've posted about this past summer did the flowers. It was fun to watch her getting things set up.

And this morning she offered bouquets to those of us who had stayed overnight. I brought ours home and put it in the same bucket, and voila, summer returns to Windy Poplars for a few days.

    1. She truly is, Sallie. And a great friend of the bride! She was a wedding guest and the flower lady.

  2. Once again, these flowers are magnificent, and how lovely those urns of flowers are. What a lovely wedding this must have been, with the sun shining, the flowers and that gazebo!

    1. It was the best!! The heart in the gazebo was made of birch branches. The bride is our son-in-law's sister. And she and her husband and our Margaret and her Matthew all went to the same school where Tom taught. So, yes indeed it was a lovely wedding.

  3. The set-up for the wedding with the pavillion and the heart at its front look soooo romantic! *sigh* Almost wants me to get married again myself... :-)
Very beautiful flowers! I imagine the lady doing the flowers there will be producing some wonderful fall decoration, and later Christmas!

    1. It was a wonderful venue. A bike and hiking place on a lot of land that is off a dirt road. Some guests camped out, and the family had accommodations in a kind of rustic building. It was a very romantic setting and the wedding was beautiful. I may do a post about it.
