Yesterday we were at a surprise 60th birthday party for Hazel's other grandmother, and Hazel demonstrated the proper way to eat frosting. I can almost hear a silent mmm in the last picture.
I'd love to know what is going through her mind. She's very immersed in the cupcake eating process. I can't believe how much our grandchildren have grown. The twins were four last month and my eldest grandchild was 5! It goes by too quickly doesn't it? Ann
She is so focused on that cupcake! I love that level of mindfulness. We can learn so much from our littles, if we are paying attention. She is precious!
I noticed in reading Ernestine's blog this morning, that she is making your Sour Cream Chocolate Chip cookies soon (mentioned in yesterday's post.) I don't remember that recipe, but they sound delectable! Have a beautiful week ahead, Nan!
I'll answer your comments as soon as I possibly can. Please do come back if you've asked a question. Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
Sweet all around.
ReplyDeleteshe is beautiful
ReplyDeleteand look at those eye lashes :)
Looks like quite serious business! ;) What a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteYes -- we forget the right way to do things sometimes when we get old! Thanks to Hazel Nina for the lesson in what looks like pure joy! Mmmm is right!
ReplyDeleteExactly the way I'd do it - why eat the whole cupcake when all you are really interested in is the frosting? ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh delicious, both Hazel and the frosting and as for those eyelashes…..wow!

That is way I like to eat icing too. It looks like great icing. But I can't eat too much of it nowadays.
