Today's picture/Another bouquet

I thought I'd post a picture of Margaret's CSA flowers to show how the gardener makes each bouquet just a little bit different. At the flower farm they are all wrapped in brown paper and sit in individual buckets of water for people to choose which one they want. Each one is equally beautiful as you can see.

    1. All those tomatoes have turned color and have been eaten! It seems like I eat a dozen a day. Best thing ever to walk out the door and pick tomatoes warm from the sun.

  2. Not only are each of the flowers very pretty, but they are also put together so beautifully. Flower arranging like this is an art.

    1. Yes! I've been telling everyone that she is an artist. The flowers look so natural - as if they grew that way, altogether like that. It is a gift, that's for sure.

  3. Margaret's flowers are so, so beautiful. Do you catch a glimpse of the gardens where the flowers come from?

    2. Penny, if you come back could you email me? The address is under the 'about me' tab which is below the blog header picture. I went to your about me page but couldn't find an address for you.

  4. Margaret's bouquet is similar to yours, but not the same - like to flower meadows or gardens, both may have the same flowers in/on them but will always look a little different.

  6. Both bouquets are just beautiful; I love seeing them each week. I've been picking up flowers at the Farmer's market each week.... it's a great addition to the tomatoes and everything else wonderful that's available this time of year here.

    1. I used to go to the farmers market all the time, but since the coop started here a few years ago, they sell all the local growers' foods so I just go there. Also, around here I felt that the markets were more focused on cooked/baked foods and crafts than fresh veg and fruits.
