Ages

I know it has been ages since I have posted here or written on anyone's else blog. I have been sick for weeks and weeks. Appparently it is an awful flu, and I can attest to that. Even when you are better, you are not necesarily well yet. I am in that place now. Mostly/somewhat better, but not as well as I hope to be.  Exhausting!

Anyhow, I hope my blogging friends are doing well, and I will check in again when I am better.

  1. Ah Nan - I am so happy to see a post from you. Had heard that you had been sick with the flu. Awful! Really takes it out of you and seems to take forever to get over. I have been thinking and praying for you dear friend. Please take care of yourself and baby steps toward getting to 'normal'. Much love sent!

  2. Oh, I do hope you are 100% very soon! Listen, the flu virus can take a very long time to get over. Take great care of yourself! I saw your comments about Hayley's Mother on your blog. I really had no idea about her childhood. I will have to read that book by Hayley Mills! Thankful you are doing better but the next post that you write, I trust you will tell us you are fully recovered. x

  3. Oh, Nan, so sorry to hear this! I'm a sporadic blogger these days, but checked in just in time to see your message. This year's flu is a nasty beast -- several of my friends have had a similar wrestling match with it. Sending you all good thoughts for you to feel closer to fully well, and soon.

  8. There is no good time to be ill for days. I hope that spring, however slowly it may arrive in New England, will find you able to be out and about and taking joy in life again.

  13. I wrote a comment here but it didn't go, no matter how hard I tried (I have internet issues ocasionally). I decided to come back another day and didn't get to it because last weekend was all about the first anniversary of Peter passing away. Anyway, I'm so sorry you've been struck down by the dreaded lurgy, Nan. I gather it's awful. I truly hope you feel better very soon. Take care. xxx
