He sure is, and I feel like Lukas is, too. He was in, and wrote the music for A Star is Born, and got a Grammy for it. I haven't seen it because I'd seen the first one, and didn't think I wanted to watch that story again, but I think I will now!

Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites.

ReplyDeleteYes! And tomorrow you may hear his son!
DeleteMy favorite version! I pulled this album out last week just to hear this. My second favorite version is Jimmy Durante's--he's before your time, Nan!
ReplyDeleteNot one bit before! Good night Mrs Calabash wherever you are. Weren't those the words that ended his show?? I loved him.
DeleteYes, they were! My father always repeated them with him at the end of the show and I loved that.
DeleteI love that your father did that, and that you remember!
DeleteI am enjoying the Nelson serenades.
ReplyDeleteOh, good! It all comes from me watching Farm Aid the other night. I'll do a post on it soon.
DeleteI love this song and album. He is a gem!
