I love this picture! I'll enjoy fall 'virtually'. As Sam says, fall is far away from us. Our forecast high today is 98 or 99 or even 100. We might (only might) have a high in a week or so that is 90 or 91. Sigh. Some years are like this.
Just looking at the photo made me inhale deeply, as if I was there, feeling that soft afternoon sun and breathing the fresh air. Thanks for sharing the beauty!
Autumn colours are the best, aren't they! Over here, leaves are only just beginning to turn, and most trees and gardens are still more green than anything. Our summer was not quite as hot and dry as last year's, which may have something to do with it.
I do enjoy the seasonal changes at Windy Poplars Farm. Your photos are so special capturing the essence of the changes. I can feel the afternoon sun and breath the air too.
I'll answer your comments as soon as I possibly can. Please do come back if you've asked a question. Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
So lovely!

DeleteHow beautiful! Still in a drought here. Everything is turning brown.
ReplyDeleteSo very sorry. We went a bit without rain, but August usually is warm and drier. Got 3+ inches the other night.
