ReplyDeleteThey were so cute today. They each had a rake, and would make a pile and then jump in! And yes, I do love those words. Often when I hear or read some good words, I come right to the blog and post them.

ReplyDeleteYes, such good words. We still have last night's GW to watch. Can't believe it's over for another year, I do wish they would carry it on in some form or another as there're precious few programmes for people who like gardens and gardening.
It has been the best television experience for me. I hadn't ever heard of Monty Don, or any of the others. His quiet, calm, kind demeanor is like a meditation. He has the best attitude about gardening. The only other British gardening show I had ever seen was Groundforce back in the 1990s on BBC America. As opposite to Gardeners' World as possible. All frenetic and loud.

DeleteRichard's parents really loved the show "Springwatch". Not sure if you have seen that one.
ReplyDeleteI also love your header! I have fond memories of raking leaves and C. jumping into them but he always helped me afterwards, he would rake them again (he with his little rake)and we would put them into a giant garbage can (we don't have a wheelbarrow) and then, put them on our compost. No burning for us!
