One month already! A milestone, and only one of many to follow. Before you'll know it, she'll be home with her parents, and by the time Christmas comes round again, she'll be walking towards the tree on her own two little legs :-)
Oh, I am so looking forward to it, but I also hope they keep her as long as they need to. She's gaining each day. Is only four ounces under 4 pounds now. A miracle. Thank you for the image of her at Christmas. I'll hold it in my heart. Lovely to think of.
Just now seeing that your daughter had her baby. What a pretty baby with such a pretty name, Hazel Nina, I love it! My nephew was born two months early and I remember that his little head was the size of a small orange, so tiny! He will be 30 this year and he is 6 feet 4 inches tall! I have a photo of Kyle modeling a cap that I crocheted for him at Christmas. Sending love and healthy wishes for the new arrival. On your husband's birthday too, that is special. x

ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful how both parents can hold her.
DeleteLovely photograph, precious girl. I hope Margaret and Matthew are able to get some rest now, and you too!
ReplyDeleteCarole
I am sleeping a bit better. Margaret has to pump every few hours so not so much straight sleep for her yet. Matt sleeps when he's home, I hope.
