"You're very fortunate if you're born in a very beautiful area, aren't you?" says Peter Davison to Christopher Timothy in the wonderful Vintage Roads Great and Small, which I watch on Acorn TV.
They are a delightful pair who first met when they played Tristan Farnon and James Herriot in All Creatures Great and Small. They have stayed friends all these years and are traveling companions. They love history and old cars, and we viewers get to see lovely countryside, and get to listen to their conversations, which I'm quite sure are not scripted.

I am one of those "fortunate" people. I feel so grateful to live where I do, snow in May or not!
Very apt saying though I do think almost every area has something pretty to look at.

DeleteThere is another treat on Fridays on Instagram. Adam Frost does a little live video at his home. His daughter runs the camera and they all walk around talking about plants. There are questions that come in that he tries to answer. It is so much fun.
I'm so pleased their friendship has lasted! Loved the books and the series, and I'm delighted that the two are still having adventures. :)

ReplyDeleteYes, I have! I had a hard time at first because of the way he was treated, but I think it got better. I felt badly to hear his friend had died.

DeleteI've been meaning to watch this! I think RH would enjoy this too. And it is always nice to find someone who still loves where they live, even with snow in May. Not that I can't perfectly understand how my northern gardener friends are just fed up with it by now!
