The new Van has been playing in the house for days now. It is called Born To Sing: No Plan B. Here is the title song. To Tom and I, Van Morrison is a music god - a genius poet/singer.
Tom and I were listening to some "old" Van recently, and Tom just uttered the word, "genius." He went on to say, "When I hear this guy, I just think, 'genius'." So it was kind of kizmet for me to read your words above... another Nan, another Tom, another Van in time and place... arriving at the very same conclusion :)
Oh, Nan! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I didn't know he had a new album out. I love this song and Van-the-Man! He is a music god. I'll get his album tomorrow at work. Yay!!
Nan, there's no argument about this one. We are of one mind! Sometimes when I'm in the Oxfam book shop, if there is one of his LPs or CDs in the music section, I can play him, over and over again... not sure my fellow volunteers approve though!
