It is always fun to get up in the morning and find the garden full of leaves. It is almost as good as the first snowfall. Love your header photo. So serene.

My daughter just this morning mentioned that the leaves haven't fallen off their huge black walnut tree yet -- she said "they'll wait until the evening before we have our first hard rain." (Then they have a huge soggy mess!)
Around here, 5 days after this picture, there are more leaves on the ground than on trees. And they offer their own beautiful glow for a while. I agree - I do love the fall.

I love the autumn colours - the leaves here in the north of England are just beginning to turn gold and brown - and fall!
ReplyDeleteOur reds are mostly past, and now we're in the muted yellow color. Many trees have dropped all their leaves.

DeleteThis is how our neighborhood looks these days. The yellows are even more beautiful than the reds, imho. I love this time of year!
