After a busy early afternoon I returned home just as the sun was getting strong in the western window. I caught myself staring at the light falling on the living room wall and thought, hmmm, that is beatiful. I should take a picture: "the light in January". Then someone called me or something and the moment was lost. I am glad you got your camera out and captured the moment.
just seeing the sun today was so wonderful! I enjoyed looking at your pictures and being reminded that even in this cold season, winter sun can be so beautiful!
Thanks to each of you for taking the time to write, and for your nice words. I was so taken with the beauty I had to try and capture it. Katie, that houseplant used to be in Tom's classroom, but he brought it home for the summer once, and I couldn't part with it. :<) It is doing great in an east window. Linda, the calendar is called Lunar A Glow-in-the-dark calendar for the 2009 Lunar year. The publisher is Universe. Hope you can find one. We are enjoying it immensely.
Good day, sunshine! I love this photo essays of yours! I clicked on each one to see them in a larger format. Love the bookcase full of children's books. Such a cheery home you have.
I'll answer your comments as soon as I possibly can. Please do come back if you've asked a question. Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
