First of all, can you see how my chair kind of continues the outline of his head with even the same color!
This is a sort of book journal, or book blog about what Mr Hornby bought and read for over a year. I like Nick Hornby. I like his energy and his passion. I did get one idea for a book I'd like to read (George and Sam: Autism In The Family by Charlotte Moore) but mostly it was about books I had no interest in. I kept going because his writing is so good, but I think mostly I'm not a fan of books about books.
How clever of your chair and the book to work together like that! :) I love the blue, blue sky in previous photos - we are not having an abundance of sun here so very nice to get it in Blogland. Very cool to have those beautiful eggs - if I were closer to you I'd offer to buy the ones you can't use.

Lezlie, I think it was more the subject matter than anything. I loved Hornby's Fever Pitch and High Fidelity and can't praise them enough.

Lezlie, I think what I love so much about NH is his passion. Whether he is writing about books or music or soccer, his involvement in the subject is total and he is so enthusiastic.
