Wow! You are so creative.
Jenclair, in addition to felony & mayhem, there is the rue morgue press which has been going for a while now. Great stuff!
Elizabeth, I can understand why you'd feel badly, but honestly you can't write two excellent books at the same time, and Grace is as perfect as can be! I look forward to the memoir. It sounds perfect to go with what I'm reading at the moment which is a simply gorgeous autobiography of Daphne Du Maurier's early years. Thank you for a lovely review.Cathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06371069000185280668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-39050737448882005402008-11-03T00:14:00.000-05:002008-11-03T00:14:00.000-05:00oh..wonderful review, that sounds like a book I'd ...oh..wonderful review, that sounds like a book I'd enjoy when I make some time to read again!Deborah Lambsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09727337169993608781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-44297924502803957072008-11-02T21:13:00.000-05:002008-11-02T21:13:00.000-05:00I think this one sounds great, Nan. It is reassuring to know that some of the older mysteries are becoming available again.jenclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06046532245054911248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-7323541734838938832008-11-02T20:18:00.000-05:002008-11-02T20:18:00.000-05:00Nan, I was fascinated by your latest review and wi...Nan, I was fascinated by your latest review and will look for THE SKELETON IN THE GRASS. I visited Guernsey with my mother a few years ago and thought of writing about the island during WWII, but was distracted by other projects. I haven't read the Guernsey book everybody's talking about probably because I felt a little envious that those two authors forged ahead while I ended up writing about child labor. But now I will read the Barnard and the Potato Pie Guernsey book especially because I'm working on a memoir about my mother who went through WWII in London and who was a very distant relative of Oswald Mosley (although she was completely opposed to his politics.)

And yes, please America, vote in Obama.
ElizabethAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
