I have been reading them, even though I haven't commented in quite a while. I've enjoyed your ideas, reviews and pictures. On the flip side of this comment, how marvellous that your life is so busy and filled with family and little ones...it reminded me of a poem I think you posted a few months back about how the housework can wait...and just spend time with the children. Take care...J.K.S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02301872618934125578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-30179959255627125572014-08-19T17:18:03.727-04:002014-08-19T17:18:03.727-04:00Perfectly understandable, Nan. Grandchildren trump blogging any time, any day of the week. :) Oh how I wish I could see my own grandchildren on a regular schedule but so far that hasn't been the case. Still, I cherish the time I do spend with them. A friend told me that 'grandchildren are our reward for living into old age.' I quite agree.Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-81012846181061737202014-08-19T07:38:50.428-04:002014-08-19T07:38:50.428-04:00I understand

You are certainly busy, but in such a rewarding way. How wonderful for you and Tom to be able to take care of Miss Hazel Nina during the week. Such a bond you will have with both of those darling children. And, oh, how that little miss looks like her mama! We'll see you when we see you. Don't let this blog become a burden. We're all happy with the occasional photo. We're easy to please. :)Leshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08345657431432380804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-7465970561919684772014-08-13T20:23:47.193-04:002014-08-13T20:23:47.193-04:00Oh Nan, you sure know how to make me smile!! I like to see all the lovely pictures you post including those of your little grandchildren, a source of eternal joy to grandparents. It's a great feeling to be with one's kids when they're small. They grow up so fast. Personally, I put family above everything else and blogging would be the least of my priorities, so I understand how you feel about it. All the best, Nan.Prashant C. They soon grow up. We looked after our grandson two and sometimes three days a week until he was five and those years were precious to us. He's seven now and at school, a very lovely little boy, and it's nice to feel partly responsible for that. How wonderful to have the chance to look after Hazel Nina - your daughter must appreciate that immensely.

I think of you as well, and am planning to put some daylilies in our new yard. I've got a corner in the backyard that my mom had a bit of a garden in I think, cause it's just weedy there now. I threw my rhubarb there, but I think daylilies will be perfect! Do I plant them in the spring or fall? Also, I tried the strawberry pancakes a few weeks ago and they were tasty. Also planning on the cornbread-blueberry pancakes soon.
See, your influence if far-reaching! Enjoy your babies!raidergirl3https://www.blogger.com/profile/03629915042716259349noreply@blogger.com
