Today's picture/Woodstove in June

 In reference to yesterday's poem. We did not have a frost but it is plenty cold.

  2. It is cold down here on the north shore of Boston as well. There was a stiff and chilly breeze blowing up off the harbor as I walked home from church.

  3. Haven't managed to stop by for a while, Nan, but I'm happy to see that the photos you post are still of the highest quality. Love 'em. High eighties down here, but lots more heat yet to come, so this doesn't feel bad at all.

  5. Beautiful stove. We have one that is closed up and you can't see the flames and I wish we had one like yours. Funny how even though we rae in north Florida it gets very cold in December and January. Frozen over birdbathes, etc. I would love to live somewhere cooler but will probably stay here.

    1. We just got it this spring! We'd had one without a window for many years, and there was stuff wrong with it, so we got the new one! It makes a really big difference seeing the flames. Warmer somehow. Odd, but true!
