So here's our beloved Hazel in her Hallowe'en costume. I had never heard of The Mandalorian until she told us about it. You may read more here, if you are interested. She is wild about the show. Already the talk is about boys' and girls' clothing. Someone told her The Mandalorian was for boys. She doesn't care. She loves it! Today is the Trunk or Treat where parents park their cars and decorate them for Hallowe'en, and the little kids go from car to car for treats.
Awesome costume; the trunk or treat idea is fun. Several of the schools seem to do that.

Very nice and I think The Mandalorian could be anyone - that's the point of the mask/helmet. Star Wars still is alive! Ha! A lot of the churches here do the Trunk or Treat thing and I think maybe other groups as well. Hazel looks great!

ReplyDeleteGlad she is ignoring gender roles at an early age! Halloween is a fun holiday regardless of age. My niece was born on Halloween and seems to enjoy that at nearly 14.
ReplyDeleteHazel is adorable and that's an amazing costume! I was glad to know what 'trunk or treat' is as we saw signs about it as we traveled across the country and had never heard of it. A great idea especially because the places where we saw the banners and announcements were rural towns where no child would be able to go neighborhood trick-or-treating. (We were home at the Canal Cottage by the actual holiday date).
