Today's picture/Week eight CSA flowers - 2018

All things bright and beautiful. Bright sun, cooler and less humid. Gorgeous colors. When I was a kid, it wasn't heard of to put orange and pink near each other. How very silly!

  1. Gorgeous fleurs! And the sunshine! I'm a little envious, although it did come out for a little while today. And those 'maters in your header! Yummm.

    1. The weather yesterday was perfect. Finally, low humidity and lots of sun. And the tomatoes are such a treat.

  2. Orange, pink and yellow work very well together - any sunset (or sunrise) is proof!
This week's flowers say "late summer" all over... a bit of a melancholy time for me every year, but nonetheless very enjoyable.

    1. You are right! I don't think it was until the 60s that fashion began to put all colors together. It is certainly enjoyable here for me with cooler temperatures.

  3. I love the colors too! I will say that I love the purples and deep blues and 'hot' pinks best, but that's my color wheel or whatever. My mother used to always say that purples and blues and greens worked best with silver hair. And I pretty much have silver hair or almost these days.

    1. In flowers, I love all colors, but in the house I favor the Swedish or seaside blueish grayish greenish. So soothing. I love your hair!

  4. This idea that orange and pink cannot go together came up too often in Anne of Green Gables as I recall. I didn't at all understand it then! And don't now.

    1. Because she had red hair! I was a redhead, or ginger as they are called now, and I learned early to not wear orange or pink. Now all the gingers wear those colors and they look great!!
